This is a nice Time Code Reader with many features. I connected
the output from a color bar generator and was able to get a
time display to appear on the screen. This was captured on an
SGI Indigo workstation and can be seen in the last picture above. 

I found a tape which had time code recorded on one of the audio 
tracks. I connected the audio output of the deck to this unit and 
and the counter on the screen showed the time code info from the 
tape.
